What kind of payments do you accept?

We accept cash and e-transfers (please note: a 3% processing fee applies to e-transfers).

What do I need to do before my appointment?

Please avoid using any chemical exfoliants—such as AHA, BHA, or retinol—for at least 1 week prior to your appointment to ensure your skin is in its best condition for treatment.

What do I need to do after my appointment?

Avoid chemical exfoliants (AHA, BHA, retinol) for at least 1 week after your treatment. Also, refrain from extreme heat, saunas, or intense sweating for 48 hours to protect your skin barrier and ensure optimal results.

Is breaking out normal after my treatment?

Yes—purging is completely normal after a facial. Treatments often accelerate the skin’s natural exfoliation process, which can bring underlying impurities to the surface as your skin begins to detox and rebalance.

Do you accept male clients?

Yes, I accept male clients by referral only. This helps ensure a safe, comfortable, and intentional environment for all guests at Yen Rituals. If you were referred by an existing client, please mention their name when reaching out.

Policies

Rescheduling and Cancellations

A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required for rescheduling or cancellations. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will result in a forfeited deposit. A new deposit will be required to book another appointment. Please note that all deposits are non-refundable.

Late arrivals

Late arrivals will result in a shortened treatment time, as sessions will still end at the originally scheduled time. A $20 late fee will apply if you arrive 15 minutes late. If you are 30 minutes late or more, your appointment will need to be rescheduled, and the deposit will be forfeited.

Deposits

A non-refundable deposit $30 is required to book and goes toward your service total; 24 hours’ notice is needed to reschedule, otherwise the deposit will be forfeited and a new one required.
